Q. Is there a specific role/character you’ve always wanted to play, or a genre you want to act in?

Con said he’d like to do more comedy cos he’s really fuckin’ funny, but also because it scares him. Nathan said this is going to sound like a joke, but he thinks there should be a biopic of Perez Hilton and he should play that role, because he’s fascinated by the lawlessness of the early internet and how that guy was able to get away with basically ruining people’s lives. Then Con was like, and if that were to be a muppet movie, it’d be you as Perez played by Miss Piggy.

Q. If you could take the premise of OFMD but base it in a different historical era or around different figures in history, what would you choose?

Con’s immediate answer was cowboys, which he then amended to cowboys or vampires. He said the show wouldn’t have to change that much for either, and Izzy could basically wear the same costume. He said those should be the only roles he plays going forward - comedy, cowboys and vampires. Nathan referred back to the last question and said something set in the early noughts would be great, not even necessarily about famous people but just exploring what was going on at that time.

Q. As you are both writers, who would you love to have directing your scripts?

Nathan said his favourite directors are Tamara Jenkins and Lorene Scafaria but then was like I’m pretty sure most of you won’t know who they are and that’s probably the worst answer I’ve ever given at a con. Con said he’s just worked with a director called Anthony Maras who was great – the way he said the surname sounded quite like Mraz, so Nathan was like, brother of Jason perhaps? You should definitely find out. Con added he really liked working with Andrew DeYoung (who directed OFMD S1 ep 10, S2 ep 3-5) and Nathan said he was the best, and a hearthrob too.

Closing

Con switched into a more serious tone and said before we finish I want to say something, if I can take the platform briefly.  it’s scary times guys. We are at our best when we’re fighting back. Fight back. Look to your community, support your community. We’ve been here before, we’ll be here again. Fight back.

This Q&A panel was good but as soon as Dom started talking about feeling like a fraud because they couldn’t come out during filming ‘Wynonna Earp’, I just cried a little bit because I feel so sorry for them that they feel that way. That they were ever made to feel ashamed about that they couldn’t be braver because I think they were so damn brave to play a queer character all the while knowing they were queer.

I mean who does that? Who in the world that genuinely knows they’re queer but not out is brave enough to do that? That’s Herculean levels of bravery.

That’s like facing the Namean lion in high heels.

Dom should give themselves more credit.

'NotSoAverageFangirl' (NSAF), who is named by 'Ms. Elijah Dejesus' hails from 'Orlando, Florida, United States of America (U.S.A.)', similar from the opening intro of "Hailey's on It!" is just one of the popular YouTubers with whom viewers get to watch reactions and other stuff on various forms of entertainment media, such as animated shows like "Steven Universe", "Amphibia" and "The Owl House". Her fans at NSAF just love her, because she really has highly and energetic insightful hard-hitting commentaries, and a great personality.

They share their insights into their characters through a Q&A reunion panel last week and this afternoon, between Friday and Mondays. It touches on insights about the characters, personal experience working on the show, and the impact it has on lives. They also answered fan questions from viewers themselves, where 'Ms. Elijah' and the moderation team are independently picking some of your questions, getting into the emotional depth of their roles and behind-the-scenes anecdotes. Some fun tidbits from the Ted Raimi panel at Smoky Mountain Terror on June 8th:

Ted is a big fan of Tennessee, apparently. He's also fond of whiskey/bourbon made in Tennessee, and his first experience with moonshine was a bit rough

Ted likes to buy his costumes from the movies/TV shows he's been in. He owns Joxer's costume, Tim's (from SeaQuest), and Wes's (from Supernatural), among others

Ted is hoping for a season 2 of Deadwax. Said he'd be in it in a heartbeat. Fingers crossed!

Ted's favorite death scene out of all of his death scenes is the one from Darkman

Ted has said he hasn't actually had his favorite role yet. Someone asked which role was his favorite, and he said he hasn't done it yet

Ted can't pick his favorite actor or actress he's been in a film/show with. Said it's like picking a favorite child. Also, I don't like to gossip, but... he did say there's someone (I assume an actress) he had a bad experience with and may have said he'd like to ask a female friend to slap this person 👀

Ted went and saw Evil Dead the Musical years ago and didn't know the cast sprays the audience with blood. He also didn't know the cast knew he was front row. Instead of spraying the whole audience, the cast targeted him and doused him in blood. He loved it

And finally... Ted stated he'll be working on a new mo-cap video game soon, but he signed an NDA and can't say anything about it. He did say it's a title people should know though 👀

Vico and Nathan, highlights #1

Nathan started by talking about the cosplay competition the night before, saying it was unbelievable and outrageous, and Vico said the vibes were so good, they were just like fucking yes! serve! keep giving it! Nathan said they took their judging responsibilities super seriously and the debating was intense, and they loved the attention to detail and the way people totally embodied the characters. Nathan did a shout out for the person who had dressed as Lucius in the Republic of Pirates, and when their friend yelled out that they were still in bed, Nathan was like of course, and that’s how hard they’re embodying the spirit of Lucius, total commitment.

[Vico recognised the first questioner as having worn an awesome Widow Olivia cosplay the night before and was like, before you ask a question we just have to talk about how incredible that was. Nathan said he was completely obsessed, and it was better acting than anything on the show]

Q. If you could play a villain from any film, who would it be?

Vico came back straight away with Darth Maul, Nathan hesitated a bit and then said maybe the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz. He said he’s kind of devastated that he’s not part of the Wicked film, and that a friend of his managed to get a small speaking role and he basically hates him now, especially as he’d rationalised it by saying it’ll probably all be American actors, but he realised apparently not.
